The Museum of London tells the story of the world's greatest city and its people across three unique venues.
The Museum of London near St Paul's Cathedral covers the tumultuous past of our city, from prehistory to the diverse London of today, while the Museum of London Docklands in Canary Wharf looks at London's history as a port and the Archaeological Archive in Hackney houses finds from the last 100 years.
The Museum of London offers schools a wide range of museum-based and outreach sessions which support the teaching of subjects across the curriculum and place students’ learning in a wider context. All sessions provided by us are free and cover topics from the Iron Age and the Fire of London, to Victorian London and the regeneration of the East End. Teachers can also book self-directed visits and use our free online resources to prepare for and follow up their visit. Games, quizzes and lesson ideas are all free to access from our website. .
