Event for secondary school students in east London to learn more about careers in the arts and creative industries

Chisenhale Gallery presents Creative Careers Day - an event providing secondary school students across Tower Hamlets and neighbouring boroughs the opportunity to learn more about careers in the arts and creative industries. The Creative Careers Day is presented in partnership with Queen Mary University of London, where it will be hosted.

Structured in two sessions, the Creative Careers Day comprises a series of presentations from a broad range of award-winning creative professionals - from artists, designers and writers, to architects and filmmakers. Presentations are followed by advice sessions in the afternoon to provide students with information about grants and finance for further study, as well as the range of creative organisations offering apprenticeships, professional training, and master classes.

The Creative Careers Day aims to inspire students and inform them of pathways into further education and employment in the creative industries – one of the fastest growing employment sectors in the UK.
